For Google’s summit on misinformation, I was asked to contribute to a set of videos that focussed on companies directly combatting the spread of misinformation online. My particular edit was for the Faktencheck21 project based in Germany.
Similar to Pokerstars the video was in a language I personally don’t speak (in this case German), so I was in regular communication with a translator and the director to confirm my edit was 100% accurate in its narrative. An additional problem to solve on this project was sourcing and adding stock footage to the edit that would work seamlessly with the captured footage I was provided.
